    Just add your schedule, swipe, and match! If your availability lines up, you can book a date right away. We’re not here for endless chatting or digital pen pals . we want to make dating easy, fun, and actually happen offline.

  • How do our deals or offers work at our listed venues ?

    Upon arrival, simply inform the waiter or any staff member that you’re on an Evntful date, and show the deal/discount confirmed with your booking in the app. These deals and discounts differ venue to venue.

  • How does Evntful protect my personal information and keep users safe?

    Evntful protects your data and information through encryption, strict privacy policies, and safety features such as photo verification and reporting tools. 


    By booking your dates through the Evntful app and allowing location sharing, your emergency contacts can have details about your date and whereabouts.


    Remember to regularly review the app's privacy policy to understand how your information is managed.

  • How Evntful helps with safety

    Evntful enhances your safety through our trusted partners, our venues who are also focused on your safety when you pick their location for a date, through location sharing with trusted contacts, and check-in prompts during your date. Our app uses advanced encryption and verification processes to protect your personal information and ensure genuine interactions. If you encounter inappropriate behaviour, Evntful’s robust reporting system allows you to flag issues and our support team will assist you with any concerns.

  • What should I do if I feel unsafe or experience inappropriate behaviour on the app?

    • Use the reporting tools to flag inappropriate behaviour.
    • Block the user.
    • Evntful and our partners also offer support and resources if needed.

Safety & Wellbeing

  • How will Evntful keep me safe on my date?

    At Evntful, we promote safer dating practices and the app has built-in safety alert features. This equips you with tools to protect yourself and reduce the chance of a negative dating experience.


    In the app settings, you can add three emergency contacts to your account. During your date, the app will notify you to check in on how it's going. If you ever feel unsafe, a simple tap on the ‘I need help’ button will notify your emergency contacts with your location. This also alerts our team at Evntful, who will personally reach out to check on you.


    All our venues are Evntful approved, so their staff will know you’re on a first date and can help keep you safe if needed.


    We've partnered with four safety organisations to improve our safety measures both within and beyond the app. Your safety is our top priority at Evntful.

  • What safety tips should I follow when meeting someone in person for the first time?

    • Meet in public places. 
    • Tell a friend or family member about your plans, including the location.
    • Arrange your own transport to and from the date. 
    • Trust your instincts if something feels ‘wrong’.
    • Have a safety plan, such as a code word with a friend to call for help if needed.

  • How can I feel safe and comfortable on a first date?

    • Choose a familiar and comfortable location.
    • Set clear boundaries ahead of time.
    • Make a plan to leave if you feel uncomfortable. 
    • Prepare a few conversation topics to help with any initial awkwardness.

Dating Support

  • What if I get ghosted on the date?

    Evntful is focused on taking your online conversations offline. If you've been ghosted, send a friendly check-in after a few days. Evntful makes it easier to understand chats that aren’t going anywhere with our prompts encouraging meet ups and removing chats that are going nowhere. Try not to take it too personally as people do get caught up in day to day life. We however will do our best to be your wingman and move those chats with purpose onto getting you on a date.


    Remember to take care of yourself and consider calling out the ghoster if you feel it's necessary but try not to expect closure from them. We seek to remove these stagnant chats for you anyway. Express your feelings using "I" statements if you decide to message them. Remember, ghosting is about their communication skills, not your worth. Give yourself space to feel hurt but don't blame yourself; let go and move forward.


  • Do I have to pay for my date?

    You don't have to cover the expenses for your date. You can each pay for yourselves when you extend an invitation. Alternatively, there's an option to “pay for both" feature where you can purchase both tickets. Please note that in the event your date doesn't attend, we regret to inform you that you’ll need to reach out the the venue to alter any bookings or for any inquiries regarding this matter.


  • Can I change my date location?

    If you have already booked a date for an event, you will need to reach out to the venue/merchant separately to cancel or alter any of the booking off app via email. If you have booked and changed the location of the date you will need to let your date also know separately. 



  • Do I have to pay before I can postpone?

    A majority of our venues/merchants may require payment to secure the reservation or ticket. Just like any bookings, the venues/activity need to be aware you will be attending. This may not be the case for all bookings e.g reservation for a dinner or drinks booking. 



  • What should I do when I am not sure about my availability?

    If you are active on Evntful, our view is you are intentional about pursuing a date that week. If you’re however unsure about your availability, you are able to submit your availability as unavailable for the week . You are able to change this at any time or you can leave your availability as free so other users can send you date options. 


  • What happens after I go on a date with my match?

    We will prompt a message while you are on your date to see if you feel safe. If you have set up your profile with your key contacts, should you click you need help, where you are and who you are with will be sent to your key contacts. 


    We want you to know where you stand and also your date. We will ask you how it went and see if you want to rematch. If you decide not to your chat will go and it’s time to move on. Remember life is what happens when you are busy making other plans.



  • How do I get a refund?

    Any refunds, adjustments will need to be dealt with by the venue/merchant directly.


  • Can cancel my date once I have booked it?

    You will need to reach out to the venue/merchant for any changes


  • What happens after my date?

    We want you to know where you stand and also your date. We will ask you how it went and see if you want to rematch. If you decide not to, your chat will go and it’s time to move on. Remember life is what happens when you are busy making other plans.


  • What is expected behaviour on the app?

    At Evntful, we are committed to fostering a respectful and genuine dating environment. Users who regularly ghost others in chats, repeatedly cancel dates, or fail to show up will be reviewed and monitored closely.


     Our platform is designed for those who are serious about dating and making meaningful connections. Users who exhibit such behaviour will receive warnings via email and, if the behavior continues, may face account suspension or banning. 


    This policy ensures that our community remains dedicated to its intent of creating real and positive dating experiences.

  • What happens if my date cancels ?

    Check in with your date as you have a reminder of your booking. If your date cancels, discuss rescheduling if you booked the date in app, reach out to the venue/event to see if this is possible. 


    We understand that cancellations can be disappointing, so here are your options:


    Reschedule: You can choose to reschedule the date for another time that suits both of you. Simply use the app to suggest a new date and time.


    Find a New Match: If you prefer not to reschedule, you can continue exploring other matches and date options within the app, if you have booked a date for you and a match, take someone who is free.


    Feedback: Provide feedback on the cancellation if it helps improve the experience for everyone. Your feedback can help us identify patterns and improve our community standards.


    Support: If you need support or assistance following a cancellation, our support team is available to help. Navigate to the Help section in the app to get in touch.
