Evntful Points & Evntful Rewards Programme

1. What is this document?

This document explains the terms and conditions (the “Terms”) of our Evntful Points & Evntful Rewards Programme (the “Evntful Programme”).

Please read this carefully. By using the Programme you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply by them. If you disagree with any Terms you must not use the Evntful Programme.

You will know who Evntful are by the time you have read this, but if you need reminding see the last paragraph on this document for our full name and address, or our Website contact us page.

2. Referrals

2.1. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Evntful shall either credit you Evntful Account with Evntful Points and/or implement the chosen reward (“Evntful Reward”) if the requirements are met (as in force at that time).

2.2. You may receive Evntful Points by sharing a unique link provided by Evntful.

2.3. Evntful Points may be issued to the person who has referred their friend, or their friend or both.

2.4. You must have an Evntful account to receive Evntful Points.

3. Evntful Points, Rewards and requirements

3.1. Evntful Points can be used to redeem entries to a sweepstake to win Evntful Rewards

3.2. Evntful Points may be issued on any one of more than one of:

a) Referring a friend

b) Adding a safety contact

c) Booking a date in the Evntful App

d) Confirmation of the attendance of a date

e) Confirmation of the attendance of a singles event

3.3. An Evntful Reward may consist of any one or more than one of:

a) Products from third party brands

3.4. You will receive only the particular offer made available to you through Evntful Programme at the time you access the programme and if the conditions are met.

3.5. You can recommend an unlimited number of people. Please only show your friends our approved promotional literature.

3.6. “Friend” means someone that you personally know e.g. friend, family, colleague, acquaintance.

3.7. You must share with your Friend the token or other identifier we will provide you for your Friend’s application to be included in the Referral Reward. The unique link can be generated when sharing the Evntful App or as indicated by Evntful from time to time. 

4. When would Evntful Points for referring a friend be issued?

4.1. We would issue Evntful Points if these conditions were met:

a) You are over 18 and have an Evntful Account open at the time you ask to be part of the Evntful Programme and when we issue the Evntful Points, and your Friend has opened their Evntful Account.

b) No other person refers the same Friend: we will treat the first claim we receive as the entitled person and no other person’s recommendation will count.

c) The Friend must be new to Evntful and open an Evntful Account within 14 days of applying for a new account. 

d) Evntful Points are issued only after the friend has successfully created an Evntful Account. 

5. Prohibited Uses

5.1. You may only use our Evntful Programme in good faith for lawful purposes. You may not:

a) create more than one account in order to invite yourself;

b) invite others that have created duplicate accounts;

c) use alternative contact information to refer yourself or others that have created duplicate accounts;

d) invite members that you do not know personally, if you do so in a way that (in Evntful’s sole and absolute opinion) constitutes spam or other undesirable or unsolicited communications;

e) invite an existing customer of Evntful;

f) invite fictitious persons;

g) do anything that damages Evntful’s brand, goodwill or reputation;

h) use the Evntful Reward in: (i) any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation; or (ii) any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect;

i) make a claim to Evntful Reward as part of your business;

j) transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation (spam), solicit or make arrangements for investment business; or

k) otherwise attempt to circumvent this Agreement or the Evntful Programme.

5.2. If Evntful identify that you are making extensive use of the Evntful Programme, we may ask you to stop and move to another programme that rewards your referrals.

5.3. Any obligation on you not to do something includes an obligation not to allow that thing to be done.

6. Data Protection

6.1. You represent and warrant to us that you have obtained the express consent from the individuals whose data you provide us with, to the extent you provide us with such data.

6.2. If you have been referred to Evntful by a friend and are signing up or have signed up to our service using that friend’s referral token or other identifier, we will share your name and information regarding your Evntful account for the purposes of you and your friend claiming the relevant reward(s).

7. Abuse of the Referral Terms

7.1. Evntful has the right to refuse to pay you the Evntful Reward if (at its sole and absolute discretion) Evntful suspects that you have not used the Evntful Reward in good faith or have breached this Agreement.

7.2. We will determine, at our sole and absolute discretion, whether there has been a breach of this Agreement. When a breach of this Agreement has occurred, Evntful may take such action as we deem appropriate, including (but not limited to) termination of this Agreement, clawing back of Evntful Reward, closing your account(s), closing third party account(s) and suspending the Evntful Reward availability to you or your Friends.

8. Limitation of Liability

Evntful accepts no liability for any use of the Evntful Programme which does not comply with this Agreement. Our only liability is to make payment to you of the appropriate Evntful Rewards.

9. Changes to this agreement

We may revise this Agreement at any time by amending this page. Continued use of the Evntful Programme shall amount to acceptance of the Agreement in force at that time.

10. Changes to the Evntful Programme

Evntful reserves the right to:

a) amend, alter or change the Evntful Programme at any time, without notice; and

b) terminate the Evntful Programme at any time, without notice. In the event the Evntful Programme is terminated, Evntful will not be obliged to make an Evntful Reward to any accounts that would have otherwise qualified for a Evntful Reward.

c) withdraw, suspend or terminate the Evntful Programme or any offer made under it at any time, without notice. If we do any of these things, we will let you know if your application has been received before any cut-off date. In the event the Evntful Porgramme is terminated, we will not be obliged to make Rewards to any accounts that would have otherwise qualified for a Evntful Reward.

11. Applicable Law

11.1. This Agreement and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.

11.2. Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this agreement or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims).
