EVNTFUL X MERAKI STUDIOS: Events that are good for the soul
By Sanchia Saunders
With Evntful opening its (virtual) doors, and launching the dating app of the year, which will hopefully entice hot singles like you and me to give love another chance, it could be argued that the dating scene has finally been resurrected and brought back to life!
This is because with
Evntful's
mission to put a stop to endless swiping and meaningless connection, it could finally mean that the light at the end of the tunnel has now been switched back on, so singles can see all the fish that are still in the sea.
As with a
UK wide study revealing as many as 74% of single Brits have either ‘given up’ or are taking a ‘lengthy break’ from the pursuit of love, it looks like Evntful is the dating app you wanted but didn’t realise that you needed!
With the app being laser focused on fostering meaningful connection, it links perfectly to the amazing event that Evntful held with
Meraki Studios, highlighting the importance of togetherness and connection through
activity based dating!
Evntful x Meraki Studios
Given
Evntful's continued goals of increasing activity based dating, so a stop can finally be put on endless swiping - Evntful hosted a very cutesy & very demure pilates event - in collaboration with
Meraki Studios.
If you haven’t been living under a rock then you will know Pilates is the exercise of choice these days, if you want to fall into the ‘cool girl’ aesthetic, so it was definitely one not to miss!
The event, which consisted of multiple sessions running throughout the day, was put together in a belt to boost moral amongst singles and foster a sense of girl power.
This is because as dating norms change, so does demand for certain activities,
as according to reports,‘42% of singles want to step out of their comfort zone when going on dates’, which is why
Evntful's event was so perfect.
What did the event intel?
All attendees received a delicious banana and caramel, or strawberry matcha drink by
Naked Ground - along with a goodie bag filled with treats.
This also included a free drink from Tequila Mockingbird as well as this attendees received a complimentary Backyard Comedy Club ticket and a protein bar from Biomel!
With so much up for grabs the best way to end a perfect day was with a bit of girl talk!
GURL talk:
At the end of the event, conversations surrounding modern day dating were sparked, which left room for attendees to discuss their dating do’s and don'ts as well as their dating green flags and red flags.
This was something that was good for the soul as an Analysis from the
Community Life survey released last year showed that 62% of 16–24-year-olds felt lonely often/always, some of the time or occasionally which highlights the importance of conversation and meaningful connection - whether romantic or platonic.
So with the event ending on a high, due to attendees wiping off their dating dont's from the whiteboard provided, it leaves the question of, will you be attending
Evntful's next event ?
